The current issue of the Bourbon Country Reader features stories from Woodford County. Chuck Cowdery's article on Castle & Key is a great summary of the exciting things happening with the former Old Taylor Distillery near Millville.
His article on Bourbon Archaeology felt like he had climbed inside my head to figure out what I've been doing the last few years. Even though I've been here for all of the project, I learned some things from his take on the project (like which bourbon tastes the most like the whiskey Jack would have made).
I highly recommend subscribing to the Bourbon Country Reader. I am already looking forward to future little sips of news.
